Ok, will try to make this brief:
The mother of FBIL'S friend has been trying to solicit an invitation to our wedding since we got engaged last year.
As I said FBIL and her son are good friends. My FMIL and her are friendly, not the best of friends, but they have gone shopping together on many occasions.
This woman asked FBIL to tell us to invite her to the wedding. I , of course thought she was rude and said to FH and FBIL hell no.
Lately she has been inviting us to church and being more friendly than ever. On Sat she had a BBQ at her house and invited us. I did not go, but FH did. I was annoyed- I said the only reason she is doing this is so she can get an invitation. He then says, we should just invite her.
I think not.
Thoughts??????

if your mil wants her there then I would invite her...otherwise put her on a b list.

I say stick to your original decision. I don't even think that you should put her on the B list. I have gone through a similiar situation several times with FMIL. If I say that someone is not invited then you have to respect my wishes.
