would you like this as a favor-BE HONEST

Original post by Espo22

Ok i want real honest opinions, i am not set on these at all. I was looking for fondue sets and found a bunch of wholesale places but none list the price you have to contact them to inquire bc depends on how many you get. The others ones are alot nicer but im worried what the cost will be, im calling a few places now to see.

I did see these in my search, unlike the others it doesnt have the serving set and its a bit more plain but still kinda cute.

Honest opinions,if you dont like it PLEASE say it. I want to get a general idea of what ppl think to see what my guests would really think.

Hopefully one of the other fondue sets i like better, the price won't be bad and i can get those but just in case

DId you ever see that episode of 'whose wedding is it anyway?' that featured the sneaker designer for keds? They had super cute fondue sets as giveaways. Let me see if I can find it.

honestly, i wouldn't like it. I'm not a big fan of fondue, and i wouldn't start because i had this. It would probably take up space in a closet or I would try to regift it if possible.

Don't hate me for this, it's my opinion, and you wanted us to be honest.

NO not at all hahahahah i do want honest opinions so dont feel bad, thank you for being honest

Yeah the thought of not everybody using it has crossed my mind alot about it. Favors are so hard bc how do you find something most ppl would love, thats why i love edible favors

i would like it because we dont have a fondue set and its not something i would go out and buy for myself but if we received that as a favor i could totally see us on the couch, heating up chocolate and dipping all kinds of things in there what is different about this one? is it smaller than the other ones you were looking at? i would totally like a fondue set better than all of the favors i've ever received so far....

yeah its a little smaller, the others have small dish sets with it and are metal

maybe if it was a little bigger - i see now how its not much bigger than the strawberry in the picture

no matter what favor you give there are going to be people that are going to not use it or throw it away - thats a given - i think people would think its really original and cool favor even if they dont use it

I like fondue, I'll use it probably once and most likely be put away for good. As far as giving as a favor for myself, probably not because most of FH's family is diabetic so no sweets for my favors.

yeah no matter what there will be somebody who wont care for it or never use it.

I did receive this hand painted two sectional dish for a wedding i went to in sept and that was great too. I would have to do something a bit different since they will be at our wedding
