Would you rather...?

I'm co-hosting a bridal shower as a MOH and we have the option of serving breakfast type foods or lunch foods for the same price. Here are the options:

Option 1: 12:00 start time for a brunch with 5 plated choices (pancakes, french toast, omelette, steak and eggs, crabcake eggs benedict). All are prepared a little fancier than your typical breakfast plates.

Option 2: 1:00 or 2:00 start time with 5 plated choices (salad with chicken, salad with shrimp, burger, pasta, fish tacos). A little more generic.

BTW it would be on a Saturday.

Which would you prefer?

I'm a big fan of breakfast foods so I say brunch. Yes you should give out a favor.

Part of me wants to say lunch because its a later start time, but I love breakfast so I voted for the brunch.

My MOH & my Mother hosted my shower & gave out individually wrapped cupcakes as favors (which was also a brunch! )

Going by the food choices you listed, I would go with the brunch. It definitely seems to be fancier than the lunch.

I normally would say lunch but the brunch choices sounded better. I would definitely give a favor.

I choose brunch over any other meal any day. It just feels more fancy than a regular old lunch. LOL

I don't think you have to go crazy for the favor, but something small would be cute.

I voted for Lunch because it is on a Saturday. If it were a Sunday I would have said Brunch.

Yes I would say you have to do a favor, even if it's something small that's ok.

I voted for lunch because I LOVEEEEEE lunch! Though the brunch sounded amazing too. But I'd personally prefer lunch, especially on a Saturday.

I'm a MOH for my FSIL and for her shower one of the bridesmaids and I got together and made chocolate molds for favors.

I like that it starts at 12:00. You can be done and out at a reasonable time and still have your night.
