Would you rather extend CH or Reception? (POLL)

FH and I are going back and forth about where to add the extra hour. Our BM said we can split it between CH and the reception which I would like to do, but FH says we are paying the DJ to start at 7:30. Hmm

What do you girls suggest?

We split our xtra hour between both. We both wanted a 1.5 hour CH as we wantd time to mingle with everyone and also wanted some extra time on the reception to party it up

Reception, unless you are taking pics and might miss out on some of your CH. Then I'd do CH.

I have to say that I was at a wedding where they added on a 1/2 hour to the CH and I didn't like it. I mean it was fun and the food was great but after an hour everyone was like 'when is the party going to start' So I would rather add it to the reception- jmo

same here..I dont want to keep my guests at the CH hungier than necessary...

Thanks girls for the input!!!! We decided t add 15 mins to the CH and the 45 to the reception. FH got his way!

I think putting an extra hour on your reception alone might be a waste of money because people tend to leave early from the reception. If I had the option i would add time to my CH
