Would you rather get TY Cards at your shower or buy your own?

Need opinions. As many of you know I am in the midst of throwing a baby shower for a close friend. I almost got her Thank You cards the other day so that she would have them but then I thought, I wonder if she would rather pick out her own. What is your opinion?

For my bridal shower the thank you matched the invite. I like that idea.

I got them as a side-gift for my shower and thought it was a really cute idea - like others said - you can always use them, and it saved me from running out and buying them afterwards

Michele as one prego to another, I think this is a wonderful and thoughtful idea. I know when I have my shower I will be so large that I won't want to do anything extra Maybe you could put stamps on the envelopes too!

maybe you could print up adress labels for her to use for her thankyous.. that would save alot of time

Depends on how picky she is and how well you know her. My best friend could pick something like that out for me, but no one else. I've extremely picky about stuff like that, and I'd be grateful but disappointed that I didn't get to pick them out myself. I'd also feel weird sending something that didn't reflect my values (recycled, unbleached) or my personality.

I didn't get any and although I'm making my own, and they are so much trouble, I wouldn't want it any other way, b/c I'm so anal about these things.
But if I wasn't so anal, I'd like not to have to bother doing it myself I think it's a great touch to get them for her if she's not picky.
