I am gonna go to kleinfelds...i don't even know where bridal reflections is but i've heard it mentioned on LIW

i went to BR and am going to kleinfelds because i think the selection will be a lot bigger...BR didnt have a specific designer i was looking for (the one in carle place).

but there is a BR in the city with the designer...but im still going to both to compare.

bridal reflection locations- they are located in carle place, massapequa or manhattan- i will prob try dresses on at bridal reflections to see if i like any & also see if they have the same prices as kleinfelds

I mean, Kleinfelds has more name recognition, but sometimes that doesn't always translate into the best service.

Then again, I've never been to either, so what the he!l do I know....

i know what you mean.... sometimes things don't live up to their expecations, but for me... this one did!

i was expecting them to be very snobby and pushy... and just trying to make a sale. but that wasn't the case (for me) at all! the woman i worked with was SO sweet.. and she could tell as SOON as i put on a dress (before i even commented) whether or not I liked the dress..

i only had to try on about 6 dresses (most of which i really liked!) before finding 'THE ONE' -- that's how well they can read you.

i'm sure that the women at bridal reflections are great too, but i only went to kleinfeld and found the perfect dress, so i didn't have to go anywhere else! BUT, we did order our BM dresses from bridal reflections in massapequa last night and the experience was good overall, with just one minor complaint.... nothing too bad!

thanks girls!!! i'm going to check out both!!! well i contacted kleinfelds to see if they can give me a price on a dress & she emailed me back with the price- i know usually salons dont give out the prices on the phone or email. it was a pretty good price. i thought it would be more. i have to call bridal reflecton to make an appointment

Karen & BON- I have a thread on BHB titled 'Kleinfeld brides need your opinion' i asked which person helped them because i wanted them to recommend me someone who is nice and helpful and i got alot of responses, so you might want to check that aout and this way you can set up an appointment with someone that others recommended
