Re: Would you rather?? Menu question
I like the idea of picking my own dinner, so I go with the choice of 6

Re: Would you rather?? Menu question
I went to a wedding with the combo (filet mignon and chicken). Honestly, a lot of people only ate the chicken because they did not eat meat. I would give them the choice.

Re: Would you rather?? Menu question

I love buffets, and I love being different, so I picked the combination!! DH and I picked all different foods at our wedding that you normally don't eat at a wedding!!

Re: Would you rather?? Menu question
I voted for the combos, because then as a guest, you get to taste two different things (or 4 different things if you share with your date!). I always hate when I wish I ordered what the people across from me got, so the combo plates would allow you to sample more of the food choices. JMO!

Fh and I went for the choice of 6. We like to give people more of an option.

I'd rather the choice of 6, I'm a pretty picky eater.

Re: Would you rather?? Menu question
I would go with the choice. I know my mom and aunt are highly allergic to shell fish and even just having on the same plate as the rest of the food wouldnt be good for them

Some people are alergic to sea food or don't like meat. I voted for the pick your own dinner.

Re: Would you rather?? Menu question
I would say the 6 choices because I am sure some people may be allergic to shellfish.

Re: Would you rather?? Menu question
i'm not allergic to shellfish, I just don't like it, so the shrimp on a plate would be wasted on me. i'd go with having everyone pick what they want

Re: Would you rather?? Menu question
I would say let the guests choose. I read on a review of EW that they came around toward the end of dinner with samples of the entrees so you could try something new. (Ive seen this done at a couple of weddings other places too). With the combo plate I was nervous those people who dont eat seafood (like me ) might get upset. What about doing the combo appetizer /salad plate. I think we will do that one.

I was going to ask you what you were doing with that? Fh wants to do the combo plate, but I dont want to. I figure if they are offering seconds then we might as well have a choice.

Re: Would you rather?? Menu question
same here!! FH wants the combo plate, but thats because HE LIKES what's on it.. We'll do the choice, it seems like so much more too.. and it's not any cheaper for the combo plate.. my BM told us that we can have the combo plate if we want (just the bride and groom ) so we can taste a little of what everyonelse is having, so maybe we'll do that..
