Would you spend $223 per ticket for Knicks V. Lakers- near the court?

Would you spend $223 per ticket for Knicks V. Lakers- near the court? I found this website online, but am worried that these tickets may not be authentic, but that's besides the point. Do you think $223 is a lot? I want to get two, me and my FI for his birthday- I know he would absolutely flip out- what do you all think- yay or nay?

generally, those floor seats are up in the 1000 area...couple hundred probally puts you in the middle of the arena on a corner angle of the court. i would be warned of that website and check some creditials

i wouldnt because im not a huge knicks fan but i have spent more then that on football tickets and concerts to be right in front

Nope. I would never spend that kind of $$ on just a regular game.

The most I've ever paid for a sports ticket (well, my brother did) was for Ranger Stanley Cup playoff tickets and our seats ended up being in front of the Canuck wives.

I would pay it. I LOVE basketball.

But they should be A LOT more; I'd be wary of that site.

ooohhh maybe they are legit, check out the knicks site for ticket costs:

the thing is the person can get a lot more for those tickets - the seats are really good

Rina, I'd be a bit leery. They tend to scan the tixs now, so if they aren't authentic, you won't make it past the door.

I know that's what I'm worried about. What do you think about ebay- probably even worse, right?

Lol. I don't think the seats are that good either. Last night, I was asking my FI questions, w/o trying to seem to obvious and he said middle scetion, than side seats are better. Thank-god. $223 per ticket- Ouch.
