Ugggggggghhhhh.....I found the PERFECT thank you cards on zazzle, it's pink and gold venetian masks, and they're so me, and as a result, so expensive! I really want them, but just cannot bring myself to spend that much on thank you cards. Would you go for it or should I just have my sister knock it off lol.

That's a tough call. If they are so you then I might be inclined to say go for it. You've been good about other things along the way right????
But the reasonable side of me says if your sister can do them for less try that to save some money.
But being a bride means you don't have to be reasonable right??

yup i would make your own. . esp if someone else is offering. sometimes for yourself I would say your time is worth money but in this case take the knock off!

Re: Would you spend...
One of these days, my sister is going to kill me in my sleep.
It's a good thing I'm only going to be living with her for 4 more months
She begrudgingly agreed to do them for me, provided that I buy the card stock and the ink...so it's going to be probably the same difference anyways Ahhhh...siblings.

Re: Would you spend...
i found beautiful shower thank you cards that would have cost me 50$ for 20. I decided to go the cheaper route and use regular white thank yous. I love paper and stationary and all that, but i just didn't think it was worth it.

if you want to do them for cheaper you can get cardstock in the city-i just got some nice paper for my stds at kates paperie for 35 cents a sheet (8 1/2 x 11)..and im taking them to kinkos to be printed..49 cents a sheet for color-i figured it was cheaper than using my own ink

Re: Would you spend...
I would not spend that much on thank you cards but I am really thrifty when it comes to things like that...people are going to look at them and throw them away. I bought really pretty ones very cheap at Michael's.

Re: Would you spend...
For the shower, we just went to CVS and got some cute ones that were pretty cheap. I figured we would opt to spend more on the wedding thank you cards instead... I want the ones where our photographer puts our picture on the card for us.
If you really want it, go for it girl!! Do whatever makes you happy
