Would you tattoo FH's name on you?

same here...and i don't think our relationship lasting is going to be based on the fact that I got a tattoo. If you get someone's name tattooed and you do break up, I am going to guarantee it had nothing to do with the tattoo LOL.

Like I've said before, the vows I will say to him will be more important and are a much bigger commitment to me than a tattoo. A tat can be covered up anytime, mine is above another tattoo I have and in small letters so i can just extend my other tattoo and continue with that design. The other tat is all blue and green so it will blend in well.

He is getting a tat on his ring finger but after the wedding

Funny tthat you say that, but I'm beginning to think otherwise. I know 3 women who have done this, and all of their relationships have ended. That says enough for me.

I AM SURE THEIR RELATIONSHIP DIDNT END BECAUSE THEIR IS A TATTOO INVOLVED,, I AM ALMOST PRETTY SURE IT WAS A LIL DEEPER THAN THAT..

I'm not saying that the tattoo jinxed the relationship and now they're doomed, But what I can say as an underlying line is that one person gets the tat, and the views of the relationship is changed.
A fiend on mine got a tat after 1 year of dating a guy (which I thought was too soon) and he said 'OMG, your rushing things, I haven't even considered marrying you yet' and soon after the relationship was over, he felt rushed by the tat.

I don't think the tat is a 'Jinx' or a 'Curse' but I do believe there is a relationship between the 2. I've seen it happen way to many times between people I know, and people I don't know.

This is JMO.

well that is different...if someone gets a tat early on in the relationship and doesnt even know how serious the person is about them then yeah that will cause it bc the person will get scared...Same way if they just brought up the topic of marriage, it will scare somebody. If a person gets a tat without knowing where their relationship stands then its their fault for pushing things and would've ended regardless bc one person was obviously more into the relationship than the other and the other person wasn't ready to move so fast, so regardless issues would've come up bc this would've been felt somehow in other ways.

to say by tattoo'ing alone it will break up a relationship then that is what i dont personally believe it, don't think its a jinx. I mean ppl say its bad luck to see the bride before the church but so many people on here do it, i dont think those who choose to do it are doomed in their marriage now.

but like i said, i dont expect others to feel the same way about the tat as i do, i know how others feel lol and that is fine with me, not everybody has to agree with my choices the same way i dont agree with others about their choices in life. Its not for everybody and that is understandable, for some tats period are something they would never do.

For me personally, the fact that i am vowing to spend the rest of my life with this man is a bigger commitment. I like tats so it is no big deal for me, plus i dont believe in such a jinx...if something were to happen i can guarantee it would have nothing to do with the tat.

Honestly...i did it when we first started dating...im a very open person and if i wanna do it i just do it and i dont care what anyone's opinions are around me! And I love that i have his name on my butt...so he can see it at certain times lol

I was thinking where the heck I would put it! He is going to get his on his hip/pelvis area so only I'd see it. I might get it in the same spot and the only time it would be visible is at the beach since my bathing suits don't cover much

haha...i LOVE mine and i wouldnt change it for the world...and i know FH gets a kick out of it!

I wouldn't rock his name on me but I would get something symbolic of our relationship. Something between us that i'd feel comfortable having on my body.

Right now I have my moms astrological sign on my lower back and that's something I'll never regret...it's small and it's a little piece of her with me all the time. I like stuff like that.
