i suprised him 2 years ago and i got a crab tattooed on me ( hes a cancer ) and then when we get to NY for the wedding were getting the date tattood on our left ring finger

FH and I were planning on getting a rabbit for him and a bear tattoo for me. Since he calls me bunny and I call him Kenny Bear. its still in the works.

i think FH would do it before i would - he mentioned getting names on our wrists or tattoo bands....we are trying to think of something we can do.....just dont know what....maybe some kind of matching thing - but i dont know i feel like matching is a little corny - jmo....

I don't think matching is corny. We already have matching ones. It's something we both liked and would have gotten if we weren't together. His is on his elbow and mine is on my ankle.

see none of that stuff bothers me i love tattos and really can not stop getting them
i am DEATHLY AFRAID of needles ( medical ones) but can not stop getting tattoos
its weird
i still have never had a blood test or gotten any kind of shot in a long time..i try my hardest to not go to doctors either i just dont like them..
but..i would get tattoos of anything..i like the artof them..i have some that have absolutly no meaning to them because i just wanted to get onei have 16 now and im not stopping anytime sooooon

same here...and i dont think our relationship lasting is going to be based on the fact that i got a tattoo. If you get someones name tattoo'ed and you do break up, i am going to guarantee it had nothing to do with the tattoo lol.
Like I've said before, the vows i will say to him will be more important and are a much bigger commitment to me than a tattoo. A tat can be covered up anytime, mine is above another tattoo i have and in small letters so i can just extend my other tattoo and continue with that design. The other tat is all blue and green so it will blend in well.

me too i hate needles i get teary eyed when i get peircings...i jumo when i have to get a shot at the dr office but yet i have 3 tattoos lol

FH and I discussed it and we would never do it. FH wants to get a wedding band tattooed on his ring finger and i've thought about it to, not sure if I could deal with the pain. We've also talked about getting matching tattoos of something relating to us.

only name i would get is my daughters...i havent gotten it yet but plan on it...FH already got it when she was 1 month old.....as for FH's name i wouldnt, your children are always your children, as for FH's name i dont think its necessary

funny story though, I heard some guy got a red heart tattoo and puts the girls name in pink, if they break up it can be put back to red easily (dont know if its a true story but its funny anyway)

yeah it can just be filled in...Alot of ppl get their tats covered for different reasons. Some get tats when they're young and then when theyre older dont like it...ive seen work at tattoo shops and real big tats very detailed that they cover up...I had a tat from when i was younger and didnt like so i got something big done over it.

Funny tthat you say that, but I'm beginning to think otherwise. I know 3 women who have done this, and all of their relationships have ended. That says enough for me.
