Would you think it corny ...

Okay our reception is at the Swan club, so we are thinking of making swans our theme? Does that seem corny? I kinda like it.. FH likes the idea.. but so far most of the swan stuff seems a bit corny..

Has anyone seen any invites with swans?

i think its cute i love themes and i found that with planning having a theme helps you narrow down choices. Go for it the atmosphere of the Swan club definitely wll help you tie it all together perfectly. Im sure you can find swan invites

Not at all... i think it's a cute idea. What did you have in mind? I'm picturing Swan Ice Sculpture, Swan favors, & Swan centerpieces?

Swan favors? well I got the wedding bubbles shaped like swans.. but swan favors? any ideas?

i think like with any 'theme' subtle is key...

i would perhaps do one or two things 'swan' and the rest something else. i personally don't like when things are overdone and everything is the 'theme'...

i don't know what i would do with a 'swan favor', i guess it would depend what it is...

IMHO, I think it's kind of corny. I'm sorry, please no one throw things at me! Swan 'accents' might work, but not a full blown swan theme.

i think the swan thing is really cooll - run with it if you like it and to h*ell with what anyone else thinks - only one who has to like it is you!

I kinda agree with the accents idea.. I think too much swan would be overkill.. thanks :)

Just wanted to show you a nice Swan centerpiece... however, if you go with these, you probably shouldn't overdo anything else. Also, you could put this on every other table, or every 3rd table. Good luck!
