To run girly wedding errands for you? Like, nothing remotely masculine like limos or HM or payments?
I still need to get my hoodie embroidered, and the only places I found that are semi-local are not open on the weekends. I would have to have them open for a special appointment, and I feel a little guilty.
Incidentally, FH's office is closed every other Friday for energy efficiency purposes, and next Friday, he'll be off. The store is 10 minutes from his house.
Do I send him there, hoodie in hand with specific instructions, and pray that he understands what tiffany blue is and that he is capable of proof reading his own name?
Or do I just be a beast and make them open for me on the weekend.
Granted I haven't asked him yet, and he'll probably tell me to go scratch, but I'm curious if anyone else would dare to send FH out on this kind of girly errand lol.

I know, I know that they only have stock fonts, but I don't know if there's only one script choice. It's embroid-me, so I've seen pics of other girls who had theirs done there, and I liked the font, but not sure if it's the only one. I guess I can print out a pic and have him ask them to use that font. He totally won't do it for me anyways, I'm just thinking out loud lol.

I would trust him as far as spelling and things like font and centering, etc.
However, picking and differentiating between colors - I wouldn't trust him to do that.

I would trust my DH to do it except for the color...DH is color blind but on that note....if you tell the place Tiffany Blue I think they would know what you are talking about. Maybe you can ask them to email you their colors so you can pick it out and that way your FH doesnt have to.

Why don't you go to one of the flea markets? they are open on the weekends and can do it for you.
I had mine done at Tri-County on a Sunday and waited maybe an hour for it.

I agree with your answer 100%. FH is SO anal, but so am I ... we are a match made in heaven. I think if you type out (not write, God forbid he mistakes your handwriting) instructions, print out a color swatch and print out a font sample, you'd be fine. Hopefully.

That would be ideal, but we live so far from the flea markets that it would almost not be worth it.

So I just checked their website and they have font and color samples. I wrote down the two possible choices that the font could be based on the picture I have. Their stock thread colors don't include tiffany or turquiose, but they must have it for probably an extra charge I'm sure. If not, they do have burgundy stock, which is my color, and I can deal with that if it comes down to it.
Now I just have to get FH to agree with it. 'But I was going to wash my car for the 3rd time this month then....'

I say send him there with a Word Document with the exact FONT example and exact wording with a sample of the color you want and the size of the text you'd want on the back!
