Would you use a vendor

Would you use a vendor

even if you knew for a fact they have another wedding that day?

I'm debating on this right now....

What is the vendor for?

Depends what the venor is for. If it's flowers or limos, no problem. If it's a photographer, that would send up a red flag to me.

many vendors do more then 1 wedding a day

I think for me it would depend on what kind of vendor it is.

Ditto.

Hair and make-up, flowers, limos - yes I would keep them.

Photo or video - unless it's a studio and there are other photographers doing other weddings - no I wouldn't keep them.

My photographer does multiple weddings a day -- there is more than one team. I don't think I'd worry about it unless you know that it will be in direct conflict with your timing. I think it's not unusal for companies to book more than one wedding.

Totally depends on the vendor.

i agree w everyone else.... it depends on the vendor, but also to the extent that you need them for that day

I think the vendor will best answer that question....if they can handle another wedding and agree to it - why not. If they're honest and tell you, they have another wedding, and can't do it - then you have to keep looking.

i agree it depends on the vendor - most do more than one wedding a day - Carlsbride and i are date twins and sharing the same limo vendor ( i love them - Alexis) but we have different limos. My florist normally does 3 weddings, unfortunately for him i'm the only one booked so far for that day. Makeup and hair i'd be hesitant about - but i have very long hair so it will take almost two hours to do.

what type of vendor is it?

It definitely depends on which vendor and how many people work for them.

Janna, your wedding is in 3 months. Why are you stressing yourself out? Girl, you did research...trust your vendors and try to relax from here until then. You're getting worked up over so much...your brain is in overdrive. Breathe, get a massage, cry, laugh...don't obsess over every little thing. You are going to go crazy!!

i agree that it depends on the vendors.

fyi, i went to a wedding about a month ago where they hired a DJ who had a wedding earlier. she ran late at the other wedding and showed up about 1 1/2 hours after the guests had already gotten there and were already eating their meals. It was a pretty casual affair anyway, so no one really minded that there wasn't music and that there was no formal introduction of the couple, but I was turned off that while we were eating, you could see the DJ setting up all of the equipment.

Totally depends on the services the vendor would provide. I really wanted to book our DJ and was so disappointed when he told me he had another wedding earlier that day, but then he promised he'd be able to make it for mine so I went ahead and booked him.

My MU lady also has a wedding in the morning but she'll have no trouble getting to me in time to take care of us. HTH!!

I agree, it def depends on which vendor it is, and even then, most vendors can do more than one wedding at a time.

Actually in this department I didn't do as much research as the others.

I'm just concerned because of issues I've had with broken appointments. It's not a matter of second guessing, it's a matter of not feeling comfortable with a vendor.
