Would you want your mother to walk you down the aisle in this?? UPDATE!!!

Would you wear this to a wedding??

My mother is walking me down the aisle.

I think this dress is too light and close to white.

what are your thoughts??


UPDATE:
She came over and saw that I wasn't too thrilled with it. It wasn't as light in person as it was in that picture... but that picture is infront of a window with a lot of natural light.... which means that's how it will look outside.
I took a picture of her in it and put it up next to my wedding dress and her and her friend both saw what I was saying.
She felt awful about it.. she cried. then she went home and called me again and was crying. She said she didn't do it on purpose and she was focused on it not looking like a bride dress....but didn't think of her standing next to me or it being ornate or competing with my dress of any of that.
We are going to go shopping for a new dress for her.... she will walk me down the aisle in the new dress and take pics in it and then she will change into this one for the reception. it is a very nice dress. Just not to walk me down the aisle in. The dress reflects light from the top to the bottom... and mine only shines when I move and not really in pictures at all. The sales people really talked her into it too.... they told her... oh MOB's wear this all the time. blah blah blah.
ahhh. t his has been a nutty week!!

I am so sorry to say but I think its too light and it may detract from you. Also I wouldnt want people talking about how the bride and MOB looked similiar, JMO!!!!

I agree with you all. She is on her way over here right now to show me the dress. i think she's insane to of purshased it in the first place.

Oh Honey....you have been through too much lately! At this point I say do what makes you happy. Its your day. What is wrong with these people?? You can def tell your mom no b/c it really isn't an appropriate dress. Unless you wanted her to wear a wedding like dress then it is absolutely inappropriate.

i wouldn't mind it too much i mean everyone knows that you are the bride so the 'out shining' you factor really wouldn't be an issue and it looks silvery to me actually. I wouldn't sweat it too much.
