If I could afford a day after shoot I would absolutely do it. The pics are gorgeous and it looks like so much fun.

Those pictures are beautiful I wish I had the guts to do something like that. If I did have the guts I would do it after the reception. I really wouldnt need the dress after the wedding day.
But would love to keep my dress for sentimental reasons.

I probably couldn't do it to my dress even though it was cheap.
BUT....i was already planning to take my engagement shots in a cheaper wedding dress that I plan on getting of ebay or something. Since my wedding's in the winter, I wanted to take some shots of us outside during the spring/summer....i guess you could call them 'day before' shots.
I would TOTALLY do that for my day before shoot....i LOVE the ones in the water.

so many of those shots are just amazing! but the question isn't really could i do it, its more like what would my mother (who paid for the dress) do to me if she found out! i'd be a dead woman!

When we were on vaca in St. Lucia (sandals) there was a wedding there. The couple went on a jet ski right after and took awesome pics. but the dress had to have gotten soaked. They not only hung around for pictures they drove it out onthe ocean for distance shots.
