Fh was going to 7-11 and asked if I wanted anything. I haven't gotten a wedding magazine in like 6 months and I am pretty bored so I asked if he would pick one up for me.

He laughed at me and said that he would rather buy me 10 boxes of tampons then bring a wedding magazine up to the register.

I was shocked, I couldn't believe that this would embaress him. What do you think, would your fh buy you one? Is mine just a baby?

mine would buy the mag and wouldn't care. tampons, i'm not so sure about. if i really needed them he would but he wouldn't be happy about it.

also, if i ask him to hold my bag for a minute he holds it with one finger with his arm extended all the way out from his body

Tilde, our guys always sound sooooo much alike. Did your fh watch football ALL day long today too?

My FH would buy it. He isn't embarrassed about that kind of stuff.

If I give him my pocketbook to hold, he puts it around his shoulder. Hehe. He says it is easier to hold that way. I was kind of suspicious at first, but now, 2.5 years later, I see he is just unembarrassed.

My FH isnt home, but Im guessing that since he has bought be cosmo when i was sick, he would buy a bridal mag.

Not sure on tampons though..he doesnt like going into Bath and Body Works b/c its 'too girly'...yet- they DO have mens stuff there too

lol, ya, thats what fh meant. He was like when I have to buy tampons they know they are not for me, but wedding magazines who knows. lol

that's funny.

My FH would. He bought me a whole stack of wedding mags and threw in a Lucky last time I was sick.

all im saying is that is was pink and sparkly!

the parking lot was packed and i didnt want to go in there - i was too embarrased so i made FH go in.....he was in there forever - turns out there was a long line - and he had to stand on it - with a pink weiner in his hand!!!

Well..I already sent my FH to the store many times for tampons lolz so thats nothin new.

But, this story is one of my favs!!

Him and my brother went to CVS at like 11:30 one nite ... so on there way out I let them know I needed tampons and of course chocolate and icecream! lolz...

While they were there I remembered that they have magazines..and I wanted The Knot one lolz..

They came home hysterical laughing!! They said the guy at the register turned like ten shades of red. When my brother and FH get together they are hysterical. When they put the stuff on the counter my brother said 'Honey, are you sure thats all we need? and my FH answered 'It's fine sweetie, the wedding isn't for another few months, we can pick up a few odds and ends next week'...

Mine would. He has no shame. Tampons, magazines, holds my bag and many other things that I have asked for....though not quite a pink wiener

hahaha same here....he would never buy either. When I go into the pharmacy to buy tampons he walks away....when it comes to holding my bag.....if its for more then 2 seconds he starts to complain and hand it back to me no matter whats in my hands or if stuff is falling on the floor.....aren't they wonderful!!! hahaha
