LOL

I know the feeling. Some days I wake up and think I am dreaming.

Today I was blasting the wedding collection CD that I have.

LOL! I know exactly what you mean. Are you nervous? If so, what exactly makes you nervous? For me, I think I'm nervous about everything going wrong on the day of.

Re: Wow....

I am nervous because i hate having people staring at me!

Re: Wow....

I am very nervous, but mainly because I am so afraid of not having enough money to cover everything. I can just picture it now, my uncle taking the pictures, my cousin shooting the video, and my father flipping burgers onto plates in the reception hall! Haha, but honestly, I guess it is just such a HUGE step, and I never thought about it that way until today. But it's a good huge step

Re: Wow....

The big day is next year and i get nervous. I think i am nervous because of that whole walking down the aisle and everyone looking at me and watching my every move. I have this fear that I'll slip and fall.

though some days I wish the wedding was next week and some days I just think I am dreaming

Re: Wow....

i also keep worrying about whether or not I will feel sad once the big day has come and gone? I don't know, I shouldn't feel sad about that, but I just keep thinking that after 2 years of planning, won't I be in wedding withdrawl?

Re: Wow....

Chippa! What are the odds that you will fall down?? C'mon girlie!!

Get this, ladies . . .I've decided to sing to my FI during the ceremony. When I think about this, I wanna throw up. I want this wedding to be over as quickly as possible!

Or . ..do I?

Re: Wow....

I think wedding planning withdrawal is very common among new brides. I often wonder about that too.

I've contemplated being a part time wedding planner sometime in the near future to help overcome this anticipated depression.

That is so great radiostar! Good for you! I'm sure you'll be great

Re: Wow....

I meant at the singing, but the wedding planner thing could work out great too

Re: Wow....

I dont know, but i just have this fear that their will be a bulge in the runner and my foot will get caught and there goes the bride falling down the aisle...and the video and photo capturing every moment of it.

then i have this other fear that i'll be walking down the aisle and FI's little cousins will be in church and they'll think it will be funny to stand on my train or veil.

i know i know i shouldnt think that way, but i just have this fear. i'll get over it

Re: Wow....

Just remember that your fears, if they come true, could be worth $10,000 thanks to our sadistic choice of television programming. (America's Funniest Home Videos thrives off that stuff). Haha, sorry.....

Re: Wow....

I definitley know how all of you feel. It's so close now, and I'm like WOW, I am going to be a WIFE
Oh, I fear my independence may go down the drain. i still want to be ME, but I soooo do want to be my sweet Len's WIFE too.
I hope I can just balance both

Re: Wow....

It hit me the other day when we met with the Pastor. He brought us down to see the church and I stood at the end of the isle and looked up at the alter and it TOTALLY hit me that I'm getting married. Good thing both mom and dad are walking me down the isle.....they'll have to carry me :)

Lizlen - I totally hear what you are saying. I don't want to become all my girlfriends who sit home and never do anything by themselves. I still want to balance my life and 'our' life.
