wow people have gaul...

Two people now, yes two that are invited to my wedding thought it was ok to bring along TWO other people instead of and guest....

one is bringing her grandson and his girlfriend, don't know either of them
one is bringing her sister and her mother, don't know either of them...

Who does that?!?!?!?

I'm letting it slide cus we think our numbers will be under min anyway, but what if they arent and others keep doing this?!?!

That aggravates me so much. You shouldnt let it slide completely. Did your RSVPs say how many seats were reserved in their honor?

no but they clearly said so and so and guesT are invited... i think in both these cases, one gal is old like in her 80s and asked her adult grandson who was prolly like sure ill go, but im not comin without my significant other, and the second one i think wanted to bring her sis and then felt bad leaving their mom who is also older and lives with one of them, behind....

the reply cards are already here, my mom is going to politely tell them not to tell anyone else that im allowing it, shes gonna also politely tell them they were presumptuous asssholes...

i feel u'r pain.. fh's family has been making a habit of adding their own numbers in... and apparently his mom's friend not only put down 4, but when his mom told her no.. she can't bring her daughter and son, she responded that 'that ins't how the rsvp read..' and that the way they read by putting number attending we were asking people how many people they wanted to bring..EXCUSE ME? did u read the inner envelope? i told fh and fmil that the INNER ENVELOPE specified who was invited.. specifically.. kids, fish, puppies.. everyone... EVERYONE.... if we wantd you there, we put YOUR name down..

not only that. but if u know neither ur' son nor u'r daughter have ever in their LIVES seen me or FH.. why would you try to bring them?


this is not the 2nd rsvp i've gottn like that from fh's family.. but the 5th.. FIFTH!! every day i'm like call so and so and fix it.. call so and so and fix it.. and now folks are getting indignant.. damn shame..

ummmmmmmmmmmm HELL NO. if that was my situation i would call those people and tell them not to come at all. I hate that $hit!!! Have some call people!! If the invitation says you and guest that doesnt mean you whole freaking family!! W T FFFFFFFF

I would respond that unfortunately you are not certain if you can accommodate extra people due to your invite numbers, but if you are able to accommodate them you will let me know.

W T F? Why are these people inviting people to your wedding? If you'd wanted them there, you'd have invited them inthe first place!!!!!
