I just got off the phone with my church to inquire about our priest (he's leaving to become a Monsignior at another parish and I want to know if he'll still be there for us...keep your fingers crossed for me!!!!!!!!!!) and the lady asked me if I booked my rehearsal with them yet. I said, 'No. I was going to call like a month and a half before'. She looked up the date and said that the summer months are CRAZY with weddings and that the Friday night (I'm getting married Saturday) already has the time slots filled!!! Thank God she had one for Thursday night....I booked it and feel kinda guilty that some of the people in our family will have this at 7pm and then a dinner until at least 11 and have to get up for work the next day. Oh well, what could I do?????

Thursday is much better anyway!! You'll want to take friday to get your nails done, relax, get everything in order... not worry about a rehearsal and RD!!

stoopid me booked our rehearsal for Thursday night for our wedding on Friday. I regret it completely.

Oh no! Too late to change it? Well, on the bright side, being out at a RD will force you not to nitpick and mentally stress about the next day!

This is happening to us too. Our priest is leaving June 22nd and he won't know until then if he can do our wedding or not!

I was thinking that originally and was riding on the fact that most of my girls will be off of work like me and so will my mom.....it is the guys I'm worrying about lol But you're absolutely right, Thursday is much better now that I think about it. Friday night would be crazy because I have the hair and makeup ladies coming Saturday at like 6:30 am lol That wouldn't leave much rest time!
