wow...people are rude

so last week, I was talking to a bunch of people at work. One of the girls here is recently engaged and they were going on and on about their feeling about different venues.

Their comments went like this.' OMG Chateau La Mer is so SKANKY!' - no it's not. I've been there. The deck outside is freaking amazing and they have a BOAT you can arrive on.

'Fox Hollow *****.' Since when? I've been to countless weddings there. Always a nice party. Mind you, 2 people here are getting married there. Nice huh? I was like I hope you didn't actually say this out loud to anyone.

One adamantly stated she's getting married at Oheka. She doesn't even have a bf btw and I doubt she even has a clue to how much that place costs.

Geez people can be so catty. I wanted to bitchslap them!

Imagine being all excited after just booking your RH and hearing catty coworkers saying your venue *****? I'm sure she'd be devastated.

When I started working out of college, I was SHOCKED at how catty and gossipy these older 'professional' women were. I've since learned to avoid the rotten apples. They try to get gossip on my wedding but I usually give vague answers.

yea - i realized that no matter where you work, it's just another version of HS.

people can be really rude sometimes. they should keep their opinions to themselves if they have nothing nice to say.

I usually have something witty to insert in situations, like this, but I just woke up and my brain is not revved up just yet...yes ladies, I JUST woke up and the first thing I did was get on LIW!!! But yeah, rude nasty biotches (drop that 'o' please)

well if that don't like all those place, you should ask them what the feel is an 'acceptable' place to get married. I mean clearly if every place is so terrible, they must have some ideas (please sense my sarcasim in this statement)

There is a way to say you dont care for a place and not totally put the place down. You never know who is getting married there or who has already had thier wedding there.

I hope those women dont get on this forum wtih that crap. They will get eaten alive. WE DONT PLAY THAT SH*T

Wow, that's so tacky. I understand everyone has their opinion, but voicing it like that is so unclassy. Especially when girls in your office are using those RH!

Ughhh I hate that!!! Sometimes I feel like people have no manners! I agree that everyone is entitled to an opinion, but that opinion can be delivered in a constructive way rather than bashing. When someone insults something about my wedding, sometimes I get very defensive like it's my firstborn, lol. You put a lot of time and money into it, making it the perfect day for yourself, and some people are not sensitive to that.

everybody has an opinion and it can be so annoying! my sister called my reception hall (CLM) 'Chateau La Dump.' and then ate her words after the wedding! lol Let em talk...they are idiots!
