I was just looking back at my sister's wedding pictures to see what flowers she used for my mom and her MIL and I noticed she used wrist corsages.
I didn't even think about it - do you ususally use a wrist or pin-on corsage for the Moms? Now I'm wondering if the pin-on corsage could interfere with their dresses.

I am going to do the wrist corsages because I think they would interfere with the dresses.

Re: wrist or pin-on corsages?
That's what I thought- that the pins may ruin the dress depending what fabric the dress is.
I'd like them to have wrist corsages-- I think

Depends upon the fabric of the dress - the pins may pull it or the fabric may not be strong enough to support the corsage. But a pin-on gets crushed with the hugging.
FMIL requested a wrist corsage.

LOL my family is definitely too busty for a pin or corsage. no need to draw more attention We went with the wrist corsage.

usually corsages have both options but thought I would let you ladies know, I saw a pic once with a woman who had her corage pinned to her purse! Thought it was a kewl idea, but now the moms are carrying bo-ks. Sorry can't find the pic!!!

My mom and FMIL are carrying mini bouquets. I think my florist (pedestals) called them fingertips.

I think I may just have them hold a single calla.. Otherwise, I would go with the wrist corsage.

Both my Mom and my FMIL will be carrying one long calla lily wrapped in satin.

Thanks for the input. I think I may ask the Moms what they prefer. I totally forgot wrist corsages even exist!

Re: wrist or pin-on corsages?
I asked my florist about whether to go wrist or pin on and most florist will make them to go either way. I asked FMIL & the rest of the women in my family what they wanted & most said wrist but if your uncertain they can defnatly make them to be used either way!!

I'm thinking about mini-bouquets. Anyone know if they're much more than a corsage?

I was thinking of the wrist, but I'll ask my Mom and FMIL what they prefer. They haven't gotten their dresses yet, so I'll wait until they do.

My MOH's wedding was in June and her mom pinned the corsage to her purse it looked really cute, sort of like a bouqet.

I didn't use corsages. Both moms carried very small BoK's.

Re: wrist or pin-on corsages?
i will be asking each which kind they would prefer and do it that way. I personally hate wrist corsages (i think they are uncomfy) but depending on what they wear a pin corsage just may not be feasible

Re: wrist or pin-on corsages?
They will be made on an elastic band with a metal clasp that the flowers are folded into when they make the corsage...They will stick 2 pins in the end, if they would like to wear it on their dress, they have the pins, if not, just slap in on :)

I would say wrist so you don't risk snagging the MOB gown.
