so last night FH and i sat down to go over ceremony stuff. and we get to the vows part and he's like 'i want to write my own'
Oh MY!!! i'm already going to be a mess up there..how am i going to get through reading vows? this is gonna be interesting

i GUESS IM the odd ball ... Im writing my own vows i think its sweet and something you can keep forever with you .... its also a way to stop being so lazy and think for a lil bit

well the writing them part i dont mind...we write/text/email eachother sappy stuff all the time..its the reading part i dont know how im gonna get through.
my MOH got married last year and the church made them write about their feelings for eachother...he then took what they wrote about eachother and included it in their ceremony and FH loved that. he figures writing our own vows will get the same vibe. i'm gonna be a hysterical mess..this isnt gonna be pretty

I could never write my own vows, whenever i have to speak publicly i trip on all my words. the rights ones seem to leave my brain!!
I wish i could tho, it is such a special to0uch to your ceremony.

We are thinking about writing our own. We like the idea, just don't know if we'll go thru with it or just go traditional.

I asked FH last night if we could write our own. I figured he would give me a flat out 'no' but he didnt. He said he'd think about it. LOL. Typical answer from him...but at least now I know he isnt 100% against it

there's many ways to do it, if you arent great speakers you guys can tweak the original ones and still do the repeat after me thing
