Writing out numbers??

Can someone please clear this up for me??? I am in the process of ordering my invites and I just want to double check on when I am supposed to write out numbers. For example if a house number is 22 do I write out Twenty two or put the number??

I think it's something with numbers 1 - 9 you write out or something but I'm not sure.

TIA

I *believe* that you only write out the numbers between one and nine.

So you'd do

Two Allen Court
Mineola, New York 11111

but

22 Allen Court
Mineola, New York 11111

i think it's a matter of personel choice......i didn't write out the words - that would've taken even longer!!!! lol

that's correct if you're writing something in a paragraph.....

for my envelopes I'm not worrying about it and just putting all numbers....i think it's just a matter of preference

I agree that could get really annoying especially if they live in something like 22-03 or 2999999.....ok you never know...

I just wrote the numbers (easier than writing it out as words and easier for the mail carrier too)
