writing thank you cards.....

Soooooo..... I'm writing thank you cards for gifts from the
Engagement party, but I need help!!
How do I write a thank you card for people who gave money?
I wrote 'thank you for your generous gift.' Then I'm blank.
Any ideas?? I'd really appreciate it grls. Thank you!!!

It's nice to write what you plan to do with the money, even if you're not *really* spending the money on it - like:

'Thank you for the generous gift! We plan on saving it for our honeymoon so we can go sailing!'

OR

'Thank you for the generous gift! We are excited to shop for some much-needed items for the kitchen!'

really good idea!! i gotta remember this one.

So funny, I just wrote mine out today too. We didn't register yet (we wanted moolah for the E-party ) & i had no idea what to write. Good thing I had small cards. I blanked after 'Thank you for your generous gift' too For some people who had a pretty far drive, I thanked for taking the time to share our celebration with us. What you're going to use the money on is a good one! Gotta remember that for the 2nd half of cards

we had registered before the e-party but kept it hush-hush in the hopes of cash as well... but people found it anyways!! lol we got a tons of great gifts and money as well. it worked out quite well.
