So this was my cousin and I after we attended the so called so called 'bridal show' at AWM. .
RESTUPIDICULOUS -- sorry I had to make a word to describe it as the ones I know already weren't enough.
There were like 5 vendors and almost all of them were photographers of some type.
Of course they wanted us to fill out information for the ************** rip-off, and EVERYONE only wanted us to fill out tons and tons of cards with my life history on it!!!! For a 'raffle' that probably doesn't even exist.
So it was my FIRST bridal show -- it ******.
So ladies -- do they ALL suck?? Is there one that is 'the' show to go to??? What's the deal!!!?!?!?!?
Am I just wasting my time??? Cause it sure felt that way.

I am not a lady but I will say they do not all suck... LIWeddings has a Bridal Expo and that generally is very nice, and if u go to some of the Catering Hall shows they are nice as well... The big ones that you'll get emails or see in the paper generally arent that good...

no i went to a small one in staten island...i havent received phone calls and I won a bo-k that night and my FSIL won $75 off a pole dancing class that we are going to use for my bachalorette party

Well I know that Swan Club is having an expo on Feb 5th. I hear they have tons of vendors come down and have lots of food. A bunch of us are heading over there. Why not come down and join us.

im going to one at the sheraton in smithtown on sunday feb 8th...its gonna have at least 60 vendors, TONS of prizes and giveaways including honeymoons, they do like dress fashion shows...it looks awesome...
and if u get ur tix online instead of at the door its half off and brides get a free tote bag and free magazines, stuff like that!!

I forgot to add that I did LOVE going in the SUPER large hummer with Jet doors -- mainly b/c I could tell the FH about it and I know it's something he had wanted to see and sit in. LOL.
But yeah -- I really did hit a bad one -- so then I was like ok so which ones are good -- b/c this sure wasn't it. LOL.
We were so excited too -- but yeah umm no. LOL. Plus the vendors were SUPER SUPER pushy. The one makeup group there -- tried to get us to book them on the spot in addition to talking me OUT of airbrush b/c she didn't do the technique. . .I'm like huh??? No.
I definitely will check out the other ones mentioned. We have to redeem it! I can't have this sour moment.
