SOOOOO MUCH trouble to follow it! I quit after 2 months...I lost .5, .5, .5 for like six weeks for a total of 5.5 lbs or something, and then in one weekend I gained it all back! I was heavier than when I started it.....

My co-worker is on it, and she lost 12 pounds in the first month. She's dedicated to it.

Re: WW

Okay, here's my 2 cents, take it or leave it.

The program works, if you follow it. You can't go over or under. The meetings help, but you need to stick to the plan. There are many sites that give great ideas, and that is also why the meetings help. The other members there share their own experiences and failures.

All of these programs 'work', but it's what 'you' can follow. If the points is too hard, try core, if WW is too hard try Jenny Craig, if you don't like JC's food, try Nutra System. If not, join a gym and try to eat a little better.

I know what I need to do to be healthier, but I am going thru a lazy phase. But if you 'stick' to any of these programs, they work.

As far as WW being hard to stick to, think about it. New is change, and change is something you need to get used to, but after a while and time, it gets easier.

Good Luck!!!

I tried it and it wasn't working...I made up my own diet plan that seems to be working!!!! I lost 4 pounds in the first week!!!! And still excerise!!! I've lost 10 inches off my waist size since Feb!!! 5 inches off my hips!!! and a total of 15 pounds!!!
It Works!!!!

FM for details!! I be happy to help!!!

Re: WW

The other thing to remember too is sometimes we look for immediate and drastic results, but those are the results hardest to maintain and have them last... It took me a couple of months to lose the thirty... I walked everyday for three miles... and I also was in college and had the time to dedicate to being focused on eating right... I have since gain on all of the weight back because I stopped caring about eating healthy... I am trying to go back, it is not easy, but I will keep trying

I'm on core and I think it's easier to stick to then flex(points). I know what I 'can' and 'can't' eat, and I stock the house with all the foods I can have. If I'm hungry, there is always a healthy snack. I have 2 kids and my FH living here, and nobody has complained about the lack of oreo's in the cabinet. You need to commit to making a change, and now...with the wedding as my 'incentive' I am motivated more than ever!

Yes it is hard on the weekends, but plan things out ahead of time! Definitely makes it easier. The first time I did WW I went to the Friday after work meetings then would meet up with the girls for dinner. When FH joined and I rejoined with him we went to Saturday morning meetings and I hated it because I want to use my flex points on the evening of the weekends!

i'm really good about drinking water. i don't think i can do core...feel like i'd miss to much of the things i enjoy and never stick with it. i'm trying to stay motivated and just think about the summer and wearing a bathing suit!

Re: WW

I started back in sept. and lost 30lbs. (i went from a size 10 to a 4) and now have not gained a lb back. The core is a lot easier to follow ont he weekends. I tried the points years ago and if you don't track every little piece then it won't work.

For those that have gone weeks without losing....try switching to core for a week...Our mtg leader suggested this to someone and it worked
