so i've been doing Core for about a week and a half now, and nearly everyday for breakfast (at work) i get 2 eggs scrambled. Eggs are on the Core food list, so i figured this is not a problem. Then today i see egg(s), scrambled 1/2 cup, and that's not a core food, and it's 5 points! does something happen to the egg when it's scrambled to make it go up that much?? or is the egg(s), scrambled 1/2 cup mean like pre-made eggs that you scoop out? when they cook the eggs they use pam, and they don't add anything to them, so i can't see why scrambled eggs wouldn't also be a core food. i'm just so tired of egg whites, which is why i now get the whole egg scrambled. any insight/suggestions would be helpful. TIA

Re: WW Core question re: eggs
hmm.. maybe because they usually add milk to the eggs when they're being scrambled?

what are you eating for breakfast now on core?
i never add milk or anything to my eggs, it's stictly 2 eggs w/ pam on the grill, so i think i'm OK w/ still getting my eggs every morning! my cafeteria does have egg beaters and egg whites as well, i've just been enjoying real scrambled eggs, and loved that it works on core. now i feel much better!! thanks ladies!

I have cheerios with skim milk or oatmeal with applesauce mixed in it.
We're also allowed to have grits, which I'm a big fan of. I have had egg white omelettes with lots of veggies a few times from the cafeteria at work.
I need to mix it up, I get bored fast.
not breakfast related at all, but FH did make some fabulous core meatloaf last night! yum.

cheerios is core?? i need to look up which cereals are core, i know i'll get tired of my eggs soon. luckily, since i'm a picky eater, i'm used to eating the same 5 foods all the time. i'm really glad you all convinced me to try core, i think it really is easier than flex. i have a recipe for chili that i love, and it turns out that it's a complete core recipe, i can't wait to make it again

Hmmmm I don't think cheerios are core? I switched to flex this week but am still trying to only eat core foods, i've been semi successful but still well within my point range. I eat fruit for breakfast every morning, especially on core. On flex, sometimes I eat some fiber one cereal. I don't get eggs in my cafeteria b/c they definitely use butter and oil and for 2 scrambled eggwhites with mushrooms it's like $4 and I think that's insane.

Oops are cheerios not core? I thought cereals were if they don't have added sugar?
Oh no, do I have to go back and count flex points now?

I only had them a couple of days. I'm not counting the points, I didn't even measure them out. I highly doubt that will screw up my week for than the wedding I went to over the weekend lol.
I'm just hoping for ANY loss.

Coleen, you will absolutely be fine. For as much as you've exercised and if everything you've eaten well, you will be just fine. I was for a 3lb loss for my little tiny goal I had set for myself but it looks like it wont' happen. It's the bloated time of the month so I'll be happy if I stay the same. I'm eating well so I know it will come off eventually.

the book is very confusing about cold cereal. first it says as long as its whole grain and no added sugar, but then that's even very limited. that's why i've been doing eggs w/ canadian bacon everyday.
don't worry coleen, i'm sure you'll be fine. you've been going to the gym, and that def helps alot! i'm over my weekly points by about 5 right now. i'm going to the gym tonite, and friday night, so hopefully i'll make them up then.
