WW Family. . . . .Please Help Me
I've been doing fairly well thus far. I've lost 12 pounds so far. Here's the problem . . . I haven't made this known on the BRB board because I am crushed.
My dress doesn't fit. I'm a 14 . . . the bridal shop said that I should order a 18 because of the cut of the dress but since I was going to lose weight, a 16 would be safe.
Well, lo and behold . . .the dress arrived the other day and it doesn't fit. It's about 2 inches from buttoning.
PLEASE HELP ME! Is there ANYTHING THAT I CAN DO TO SPEED UP THE PROCESS? I walk about 3-4 miles a day.
All suggestions are welcomed.

Re: WW Family. . . . .Please Help Me
Keep up with the walking first. Also, why dont you try aiming for eating only the minimum point value of your point range. That might help. Definitely dont eat below your min consistently though, bec that wont help you lose weight faster. In addtion, have more high fiber foods and foods that are not as high in fat.
I have been doing WW on my own for a month and i have steadily lost 2lbs a week. A friend of mine was losing 3-4 bec of sticking to her minimum and being very strict when calculating her points.
12 lbs is great so far. Keep up the good work! YOu can definitely do this! Be positive, and know we are here for you.

I aggre stick your min. points. Also drink your water and keep up with the walking. Try adding some other form of cardio to your exercise routine too. When the weather gets warmer try swiming and maybe bike riding.12 lbs is great. I am sure you can do it. Keep up the good work. Good luck

You still have plenty of time left. I agree - Stick to your minimum points, drink lots of water, don't eat right before going to bed and maybe add some upper body exercise to your walking routine. You still have most of June and all of July and August to go. You'll be fine. Just don't try starving yourself. It will backfire big time especially with so much time left. You can do it.

Re: WW Family. . . . .Please Help Me
You have plenty of time to lose 2 inches. Like everyone has said keep up the walking, maybe try to introduce a little heavier cardio a couple of times a week. Stick to your minimum, but DO NOT starve yourself. Try to do some free weights a couple of times a week, building muscle will help you burn fat while you're sitting still. And drink lots of water. It will help flush out the fat!Keep up the good work and remember we're here for you!

Re: WW Family. . . . .Please Help Me
WW has been great for me, but what has really reshaped my body are my workouts. You can totally lose 2 inches if you do heavy cardio (where you really sweat) about three to five days a week. Also, do some weight training- you can sculpt your body, and muscle takes up less space than fat, as well as speeding up your metabolisim. Walking is great, but should be supplemented w. some heavier cardio and weights.I have lost about 12 pounds, but have gone down almost 2 pants sizes b/c I do cardio and weight training- and people all think I have lost more than I have, since my body looks different.
Believe me, if I can do it, YOU can too!! Focus on measurements, not the number on the scale- take measurements of your bust, waist, hips, arms and thighs (that one was painful for me
) and you will see them go down and feel SO good about yourself. 2 inches is nothing, you can do it!

Re: WW Family. . . . .Please Help Me
Ok. Don't panic. How much time do you have before your wedding? Is it enough time for you to realistically lose the weight without taking some crazy or harmful diet product?Another option: a good seamstress can work miracles and take the dress out. This happened to me. My dress shop burned down 2 weeks before my wedding. My dress and BM dresses were lost. New dresses were rushed in and my replacement dress was 2 sizes too small. It wouldn't even go over my hips when it was pulled over my head. This was after I lost weight and my old dress fit perfectly. Somehow they took out every possible seam that could be taken out and added more material in a way that I couldn't see where it came from. It was perfect. And...I had room to breathe and eat and move comfortably on my wedding day.
I would just have it altered to fit so you don't have the added pressure. You can always lose more after your wedding.
