im down about 22 lbs total since the end of February. I am doing pretty well with the diet but the last month or so has been hard. I have had so many weddings and events, i eat healthy all week but the weekends just kill me...haven't gained but just kinda maintaining rather than losing.

slacking on the working out though so i need to really start doing more of that. I would like to lose another 8 or 9 lbs and just tone up.

I think the fact that you've maintained through all of those big events is awesome! Great job on dropping 22 pounds and maintaining that loss

GREAT job Kelly!

Amanda, Just a tip, I wouldn't give yourself number goals each week - that might just set you up for disappointment. Especially 3 pounds - that's a lot in one week. What happens if you don't lose 3 pounds this week? Are you just going to give up????

My recommendation is focus on the TOTAL lost each month....not each week. And focus on the non-scale victories too; i.e. the fact that you're exercising, eating healthier, lost inches, etc. It'll do a LOT more for your confidence

No worries- even if you dont lose 3 lbs...even the slighest bit is progress!!

And I've read a few places there's nothing wrong with weighing in every day. In fact some people reccomend it. I guess thats based on your personal opinion. For me, it lets me know if Im starting to get off track.

PS: EVERYONE BUY THE RED VELVET BARS!!!!! HEAVEN IN YOUR MOUTH!!!!

I am a former WW drop out, and glad to see a thread here! I recently rejoined online, but think I need to make it back to meetings. Could use some words of inspiration to jumpstart. Made it to lifetime 2 years ago, but am about 10-15 pounds over now.

YOU CAN DO IT!!! If you need motivation, I highly reccomend the meetings. Every time I left a meeting, I felt ready to tackle the week and make good food choices!

And of course we're all here on LIW to help you out!

And I totally think I deserve a bravo sticker for this:

They took us out to work today (Itailian resturant) and I had grilled veggies on a whole wheat wrap with FF cheese!!

Of course I had a piece of garlic bread too.......but you gotta indulge once in awhile right?

Thanks! The meetings definately always did it for me. But I moved since I last was going, so I've been putting off finding a new meeting that I like.

I totally understand that. I actually havent been to a meeting since I became a lifetime member (a year ago). My old WW leader was fired..and he was amazing- he made the meetings worth going to.

Laura on here (LSorrent) is actually a leader...but I cant make her meetings b/c the time isnt good for me

Hey Sassy,

Yup, Colleen is right. I'm a meeting leader I lead meetings on Saturdays at 3:30 in Plainview if that's a good time/place for you.

I would definitely recommend getting back to meetings. I tried doing WW online, but it never worked for me. I needed the support and accountability of the meetings.

Remember, EVERYONE is always welcome back! And once a lifetimer, always a lifetimer. You just gotta get back to goal!

BUMP!!

So I weighed in for August and was down...

Now I'm afraid to weigh in for September. I havent been following WW at all...not good. I really need to just go food shopping and get lots of delicious healthy foods.

Anyone have good ideas for what to bring for lunch? And also snack ideas too!

im mad cause i gained 1.2 this week. I set a goal of 3.2 this week but I prob wont make it cause its pretty high. Almost everyone at the meeting gained this week. i thought that was weird. only 3 people out of 20 lost.

wowww what meeting to you go to?

my old WW leader got in trouble b/c he asked people if they lost or gained.

and dont worry about gaining this week- i'm sure you'll lose it again!

I live in Queens, looking at Howard Beach area. But your reminder about being a lifetimer and always being welcome is quite inspiring. Trying to find a meeting during the week--weekends have been wedding planning filled!
