Re: WW weigh in
well yesterday you said you had your 'friend' that'll do it.. at least 2 or 3 lbs...AND... when you excersice your muscles retain more water which can cause the scale to move up!!
You'll see the diff in your clothes first before the scale.
DON'T GIVE UP!!! YOU CAN DO IT!! STAY MOTIVATED BY LOOKING AT YOUR WEDDIND DRESS!!!
WW works.. it's worth it!!
Good luck!!!

Re: WW weigh in
did u have enough water ? oil ? dairy ? daily fruits and veggies ? Time of month ? did you write EVERYthing down?
Sometimes we follow the points to a tee, but we forget to incorporate the other aspects of it , it can throw the diet off .
Its ok , just keep up the good work and you WILL loose!

I was just about to ask about your friend- I get like 5-10 pounds of bloat at that time of the month & thats not exaggerating.
You are doing all the right things & eventually the scale will cooperate with you- but sorry that you gained- its a horrible feeling especially when you are trying so hard

Re: WW weigh in
Linda - dont feel bad! I am struggling too! Ive been on it for 4 weeks and only lost 1.5 pounds. Ive decided to start measuring myself and seeing if that changes.
Sometimes you need to make adjustments - try eating more or less points and see if that helps.
Dont give up - i need a WW buddy

Re: WW weigh in
without doubt you could just be retaining water because of your friend. if you did everything don't worry- next weigh in just may be a big loss for you! keep it up you should be very proud.. i stay away from the scale when I am menstrating I could go up to 4 pounds.....

It could be water retention so stay away from salty foods and drinks with sodium.

Re: WW weigh in
It is hard not to get frustrated. I have been keeping to my points and staying the same. Meanwhile my brother who only needs to lose 20lbs. is dropping them so easily....Stick with it, it works. You will more than likely notice a loss of size/inches as you develope muscle and may not lose lbs. You can do it !!!
