Okay so has anyone ordered a bag from this website before?

I ordered one to see what it looks like and i absolutely love it, however, there is this ring around the initial like it has been burned. So i emailed Nicky and she says that because of the embroidery hoop... it puts pressure on the material and i should just iron it to get the hoop out. I did this and still nothing. Like i said... i absolutely LOVE the bag, but i don't like the ring around the initial. I mean i noticed it and i feel like it gives off the appearance of looking dirty.

Has anyone had this problem???

I ordered bags from them, but they haven't arrived yet. I'll let you know if I have the same problem when my shipment arrives.

I have my own embroidery website and I would never send something out with the hoop mark still in the item. That's strange.

What is the bag made of. Did you have your iron set on steam. If it is made of a delicate fabric, try to iron it with a damp cloth or hankie over it. To know you have the iron at the right setting and the cloth damp enough, it should dry out in about 10 seconds.

HTH!

The bags are made of a heavy cotton fabric. Yes i tried to iron it with steam.

You said to iron it with a damp cloth... you mean put the damp cloth on top of the bag and iron the damp cloth?

Yes... like a bandana or the corner of a bed sheet. Thin cotton. If ithe bag is heavy cotton, like a canvas duffle, then you can wet the cloth good and wring it out good. Keep the iron moving around the hoop mark area. If it's not coming out of cotton, I'm not sure what they're method of hooping is? They may use a commercial machine. I would say that since you've tried what she said, call her back and ask her if you can return it postage paid for her to fix or replace.

Well i heard from Nicki and she's going to send me another bag. She said she's been trying out this new fabric so maybe that is the problem. But she's being totally great about it and is sending me another one by the end of the week!
