WWYD (limos)

we have a rather large bridal party. and im trying to figure out the best way to get us all to the church and then the hall..

(i live 2 minutes from the church. FH lives about 15.)

there will be myself and 7 girls getting ready at my house (plus my mom)
and there will be my FH and 6 guys getting ready at his house.

obviously a car for my Dad and I from house to church. but how do i get everyone else there? does the limo go pick up the guys and drop them off and then come get us? or do we have two limos.. and then to get the entire bridal party to the hall we will need a huge limo!!

are any of you girls that booked limos already in this situation? what did you go with??

and im sure my family will also want a limo (aunts, uncles etc but theyre on their own with that)

im confused!

i think what i am going to do is get a limo big enough for the entire bridal party. (guys, girls & our parents) have it pick up FH & the guys & his mom first & then drop them off. then have it pick up the girls & my mom & drop them off. then after the ceremony have everyone go into that one limo.

just an idea.

Ok Here's what I am doing:

1st - Stretch limo picks up FH & Groomsman at Hotel, drops them at Churhc

2nd - Stretch limo comes to my house to get the girls. 2nd car also arrives to pick up my father & I.

3rd - Drop the girls at church, stays and drives us to Oyster Bay for pics then to Reception

I did not get a car for my mother bc its just her and my grandmother. And either way she needs her car at the reception.

However we were just talking about this last night. We might get an extra limo for her and some close family to take them to and from the reception.

Oyster Bay Arboteum...you can't get the permit till a month before but its so beautiful and like 10mins from Fox Hollow.

thanks! i will keep that in mind! we were thinking of places on the way, there are so many.. and i definitely want to get some picture time in before cocktail hour.

oo the bentley... FH wants it! i guess we will have to see what limo companies say once we start meeting with them.

I am in a similar situation, I live about 5 min from my church and FH is about 25 minutes from the church.
So what we are planning to do is get one limo to pick up the guys drop them at church, then to my house to pick up the girls and my mom (i am planning on dropping a car [or two] off EARLY at my RH so my parents have a car to get wherever they want to go after the wedding, yes its a rush the day of my wedding to do that but i dont feel safe leaving the car over night though...) I am also getting an antique car for my dad and i to get there, then that car will take fh and i to the RH...After that I have no clue how we are getting to the hotel or how we are getting home...but we can figure it out closer to the date...

Danielle meet with Brendan at Alexis Limo. He beat the bentley price by like $500 from any other company. I got a great deal for being a Fox Hollow bride, plus the winter.

your situation is a bit more difficult because you're getting married at a church. If you really love the cadillac limo, you would have to get two of them for the bridal party because it only fits up to 10 passengers.

I'm having both ceremony and reception at the same place but FH and I are getting ready in two different boroughs. I have the bentley for me and my parents and the cadillac for the girls. I have to add on another limo for the guys because at first FH wanted to drive him and his guys but I'm not really in love with that idea.

Like you, my family also wants limos to pick them up at the end of the night, but that's on them as well.
