Wyndham Wind Watch Hotel

Is anyone staying there on their wedding night? What do you think about my fi and I staying there? Is it close to Smithtown, our wedding is at the Watermill.

I am staying there

I have a room block for a number of my guests. The hotel is very nice, the service is GREAT. We had my in-laws stay there a few weeks ago and when they notices our niece was wearing a birthday button they sent cookies and milk up to the room, no charge.

I was told NOT to spend the extra on a the bridal suite. It is a waste of $$$, especially since you will be getting to the hotel so late that night. The Jr. suite is really nice. Spend the money on your honeymoon stuff is what the girl at the hotel told me.

Ours is a Saturday afternoon wedding, so we will be there as early as 7:00 pm. Do you still think we should just get a regular room?

I agree with Michele!

I am staying there the night of my wedding, and even if you are there a more significant amount of time, I would still not go for the suite. WHen Keith and I went there to look at the rooms we asked to see the bridal suite. I didn't think that the difference in the room size, etc. was worth the price difference from the smaller rooms. It is only one night and with all the excitement, I bet that it will hardly matter!

All the rooms are really nice so spend that money on something else! And it will probably only take you about 10 minutees or so from the Watermill.

Thanks Becky and Michele!

I made a reservation, and they actually have rooms available for June still. I'm going to see the rooms next weekend.
