X-POST 2010- if any of you ladies are a bit bored today- i could use some help (on a bunch of things)
I've searched and searched... but I just can't find...
SHOES!
I kinda LOVE these but they don't match ANYTHING associated with my wedding... I don't know why, I'm just DRAWN to them.
so I know you girls are much better at shoe shopping than I am.
What I'm looking for:
HIGH heel, I need to add some inches
pref not a stiletto heel
I'd like white or a deep dark pink color
open/peep toe
no sequins
I want it to match my dress (elegant/regal look) but still be fun and young
UNDER $100 (the lower the better)
FH wants me in simple white shoes.... yea, not happening!
DOJ
I need something busy, but not gaudy... the bodice of my dress is very simple, (I wanted something a little more detailed) so I was told I should dress myself up with a thick necklace.
What I'm looking for:
(over all I want an antique-y look)
necklace:
I'd like a choker, at least I think thats what its called, where it lays just at your color bone, but is flat.
nothing hanging too low
no 'V' shaped
want it to look real, but not be real (I can't afford real)
bracelet:
I'd prefer a cuff, but I want it to match the necklace
Earrings:
Again, I'd like then to match my necklace
I dont mind chandelier, but I don't want anything too heavy
Total I want to spend on DOJ- $150... hopefully it'll be a lot less.
HAIR accessories:
I'm torn between a tiara/crown and just hair clips.
I want an updo, sleek and elegant, maybe.. half up half down... I guess this all depends on my veil and how my hair is going to be, I think I want to look like fran on the nanny when she married max.
worst case scenario, I have some of my old ones from dance, I guess that can be my something old.
MISC- also veils... I might do a 'show me your veil' thread.. and I still need a slip/petticoat.... I need a BIG/POOFY one...
I know this is a lot girls.... but I figured if anyone were bored today maybe you wouldn't mind killing some time by looking this up or giving me some websites to check out. I honestly feel like I've been through EVERYTHING..
