X-post: addressing STDs ?'s

ok a few questions as I prepare to send out STDs:

1. I would like to print the addresses, but don't have many spare envelopes. If i can't get it to work, are labels acceptable for STDs?

2. If a female relative lives with her significant other who will also be invited, should I address it with the man's name first even though it's not a Mr and Mrs situation and she's the main guest? (ex. Ms. Jane Smith and Mr. John Doe or Mr. John Doe and Ms. Jane Smith?)

3. What about a married couple in which the wife has hyphenated her name? Mr. John Doe and Mrs. Jane Smith-Doe?

It's amazing how many different family (name) situations there are looking at the list.. there should be a worksheet where you put the names and relationships in and it spits out the right address

Thanks ladies!

Absolutly. I was just going to hand write mine.

I would put borth names. I was left of a STD and called a guest from one couple and I was upset (More so because it was done to spite me by that groom). If you know the SO and/or can easily get their name I would add it.

I think that it will be ok if you use labels. I saw on a website that you are supposed to put the person that you are closer with first and then their guest.
