X Post Bridal Suite of Bay Shore and Totally You Bellmore

First, the Bridal Suite of Bay Shore has practically no MOB dresses. At first the woman helping us was great. There was a dress my mom loved and wanted to ask the lady a question, but the woman ripped the dress out of her hand and gave it to another customer to try on!! My mom shrugged it off and then went to ask her a question as to how long it would take to order and come in and then the woman held up her hand to shush her!! I felt horrible for mom and we walked out. My mom is such a quiet and sweet person too!

I realize that many of you have had great experiences with Totally You in Bellmore, hence the reason why I went there today with my mom. However, we had to wait forever to be helped and then when we were finally helped the woman helping us kept disappearing. After we finally found her, she started helping another woman and then disappeared again!! We got fed up and left!

So far we have not exactly had the greatest experience mob dress shopping. Please let me know of other places!! TIA

Moonlight Couture in Merrick...they were very helpful...Eileen helped my mom...she ordered the dress from there.

We also had a good experience at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa.

who did you work with at bayshore? thats where i got my dress the girl who we worked with was so great but when we went to get bm dresses the woman who helped us was sooooo rude. she wouldnt even show me my dress while i was there. I made sure when my dress came in and i did alterations that she was not there.
was she an older woman with brown hair short?

totally you is where my mom got her dress. they arent the greatest at working with one person at a time --but they have a huge selection.
sorry your not having good luck. theres a lot of other places. hope they are better

Honestly - I had an awful experience at the Bridal Suite of Bay Shore too. I know a lot of the people on here had great experiences and I'm sure it was just the person I worked with but I felt like she just wasn't listening to me at all. They weren't showing me any of the dresses that had the silhouette I wanted and it was really frustrating me. It was unfortunate b/c another woman working there seemed so nice, but the one I had was just flat out ignoring my opinions and requests.

I had a similar experience at Totally You. The woman working with us was AWFUL!!!

Try Village Bridal in Babylon!!!

I feel like we've been everywhere for MOB dress! (like we hadn't already been EVERYWHERE for my dress, lol!!)

Totally You - I agree not so impressed with the woman there, but a lot of dresses
Princess Bridals - a total mess, i don't even want to talk about it, lol
Village Bridal - nice selection, helpful ladies
Fantasia - love them! Not the largest selection, but definitely what they do have is nice stuff.
Sugarplum - eeehhh selection, tiny dressing rooms, can't look through the racks
Queen of Hearts - nice selection, $$$
Bridal Elegance - love them also!! mom found some nice stuff here!

Now its down to two dresses, which will it be!?!

I just bought my dress from bridal elegance in huntington.. the women there are SO helpful! they have a lot of MOB dresses- good luck!

My mom and I recently went to Paradise Bridals in Patchogue to check out their MOB dresses. They had a lot to choose from and were helpful. I also got my wedding dress there. Any experience I had there whether it was for me or my mom was pleasant.
