X-Post Budget

X-Post Budget

Hi ladies...I'm stuck on something. I use the wedding wire budget tool, and I'm pretty happy with it. But I'm also a bit OCD/controlling and a total visual person. So, when I look at my budget, it includes everything, even the items my parents are paying for. So, my question is, should I take those items out so I can see exactly what FH and I have to pay for, or do I leave them in, so I know the total cost of everything. Its something so little, but it makes me want to

why dont you do an excel sheet and set up formulas to show what you are paying and what your parents are paying. I have a good one that also calculates how much I spent each month and then automatically adds how much I have spent total , etc, etc.

I love that i'm not the only one who is up late at night doing wedding stuff, lol. I have to admit, I'm a dummy when it comes to excel. Its the only Office program I just don't understand. It sounds like that would work...I just don't know how. Unless, you can explain how it all works to me.

I agree with making a fancy excel sheet for all expenses to see where your money is going and what you will need. That being said--I'm a lost cause with formulas and money on excel, too. FH is the brains of that operation at our house!
