X-Post: FH is officially a NYS Trooper!
So my FI has been in Albany in the New York State Trooper Academy since February. It's been a really tough 6 months for both of us. The Troopers are very military in their training - and he had to really dedicate himself to completing it. I'm proud to say that yesterday he graduated in the upper portion of his class ![]()
- - and he's home! ![]()

He'll train in Riverhead for 10 weeks, and then work in Westchester as his first assignment.....then back to LI as soon as a transfer position is approved (probably about 18 months).
