X-post from '08- what do you do?

ok, I could possibly be in a dilemma- I am still on the fence with my hair for the wedding, and I have been toying with getting another trial by someone else. What happens if I like the second one better than the first- how do you tell the other stylist you don't need them for the wedding anymore??? I am so torn- do I not even bother with the 2nd trial?? HELP!! I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings and feel bad b/c I was excited at first but the more I think about it, the style is just not me

GO for a second trial! Vendors get & lose clients all the time. The best thing to do is be 100% honest..go for ur second trial(so u have no regrets!) and if by chance u ARE happier, simply call ur other stylist & just tell her the truth..'I'm really sorry, but while i loved my trial with you, I found another stylist that is more for me'...I'm a makeup artist..believe me when i say we simply go 'Ok -i'm sorry it didn't work out', hang up & move on better to do it now while she can still book another client...it's last minute cancellations that can be a pain! good luck with it ..and i hope u end up happy with ur hair! YOU'RE the bride...u need to do what makes YOU happy and 99% of vendors understand that!

Yeah - your wedding is sooo about you feeling good, not hurting the feelings of someone else not even emotionally connected to you. They will be fine!
