Oh no!! I didn't think about this and my dress is ivory...Where did he get ivory shirts?!

All of the tux places have ivory shirts. I just don't really like them. But I'm worried that a white shirt won't look right next to my dress. I've heard and read so many different things. Some people said its not big deal and that either one will be fine. Others have looked at me like I have two heads wanting FH to wear a white shirt since my dress is ivory. I am so confused about this right now.

fyi, it may not be noticeable in person but most likely it would definitely show up in photos specially when you'll be side-by-side (which will almost be ALL your photos of the day-of)

I was just speaking to a woman at a Tux place today, she said if you're wearing an Ivory dress, definitely have the guys wear Ivory shirts because in pictures a white shirt next to ivory dress will make your dress look dirty. I didn't think of this either until I told her my dress was ivory!! She put an ivory shirt next to the white shirt and there is a slight difference in color, not noticeable by itself but the the ivory did look 'dirty' next to the bright white shirt, so you don't want your dress to look like that!!
