It's a fairly decent area I think. I worked at Eckerd there for a while and it was mostly white middle to upper middle class families. A little snooty. Not bad. Not dangerous or anything, as far as I know.

FH lives in N. Massapequa...same difference. I think it's a good area I work at Plainedge High School which includes some of Massapequa Park. It's predominately white middle class, no major crime or anything like that.

Massapequa Park is a very nice area... I grew up in Massapequa.. FH grew up in Massapequa Park. We just bought a house In Massapequa. We both love it here, and the schools are very good (although I didnt go to them) THe park does have separate taxes though

I lived in Massapequa park, massapequa and north massapequa!! I grew up and now live in Wantagh 5 minutes from there. It is a good area. Good school district especially sports!!!!

I grew up in Massapequa. It's a great area, and the schools are good. I went to Plainedge..Massapequa Park will go to Massapequa HS which is also good.
Only thing I dont like about the area is the lack of diversity. Its like 99% white. East Massapequa is more mixed, but they go to Amityville HS.
Not much crime in Massapequa, but heroin is on the rise there (as most of li though).

my entire family (except for my parents and siblings) live in Mass Park, so I've practically grown up there. It is such a tight-knit little community. Adorable! Great school district (my grandma has worked at berrner elementary for 37 years), and very involved with sports. They have a big 4th of july parade every year, fire work shows, tree lighting ceremony at christmas and much more. If my job wasn't located in East Northport, I'd move there in a heartbeat!
