Okay, so this is a shameless plug, but its for a great cause!! NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is an amazing organization that advocates for individuals with mental illness and gives support to individuals and families affected by mental illness. There is a terrible stigma where mental illness is concerned and they are trying to change it!
That being said...NAMI is having a walk at Jones Beach on May 23rd and I will be walking with the Rehab Counseling Department from Hofstra University (my grad program). Each of us is trying to raise at least $100. If any of you can donate ANYTHING, I'd reaaaaally appreciate it!!! I just want to do my part as part of this team and help this great cause!! $5, $10, whatever you can spare!!
