x-post: Trunk Show Discount? update at the bottom

Do most bridal shops offer a discount if you order during a trunk show???

I want to order my dress this Saturday, but the shop is having a Maggie Trunk Show in June.

I'm already getting an incredible price on my dress, but I'm wondering if I should wait till the Trunk Show and order it then.

Oh! I know where you'reeeeeeee goingggggggg!!!! And I'm waiting until their trunk show to order it, but am going to try on dresses there a week or two before so that once i'm in, all I'm doing is paying and walking out :)

if youre already getting a discount chances are they wont give you an additional discount... but to answer your question, yes usually a discount is given when ordering at a trunk show

They don't carry the dress in the store so they are ordering it directly and they matched the lowest prices in 2 other stores. I don't know if they would consider that a discount rather than price matching. Hmmm.

Hi!
I'm not sure but it might depend on the designer and bridal shop? When I got my dress it was during a trunk show and the discount was 10% but they wouldn't offer any additional discounts on top of that.

It wouldn't hurt to just call them up and see what they will be offering too!
