Re: X POST... WOULD YOU???
We're seriously considering it. My FH just got a leave replacement but he won't get health insurance until the teacher notifies the school that she will be out for the whole year. He really wants to get married early, but I told him that even if we do that, I don't want to wear wedding rings yet. So he thinks I'm being mean lol.

Only for insurance purposes, but we are both teachers with permanent positions. I don't have tenure, but so far I don't think they are going to fire me. *crosses fingers*

When we were in Vegas last month we were joking around saying, we should get married now! No but just like everyone else, we wouldn't unless we had to which I don't think we would.

I know three people that did this - 1. so they could be married by their professor from college - they had met in the 'love lab' where they study love and she was their prof. 2. they were getting married in Israel and wanted to have immigration status in the US 3. Got married for financial reasons and then did it in Hawaii a few months later.
