Ok girls the time is getting closer...XMas G2G time!! Sunday December 14th, at 12:30. This gives us plenty of time to eat drink and be merry...and maybe even go shopping afterwards!! If your coming post your name up and I will add you to the list! Gotta get an acurate head count so I can call in a reservation!!
We are no longer meeting at Grand Luxe...week before xmas + mall + stupid people = bad situation for parking and crowds..
we will now be meeting at CROXLEYS!!! same time, just different place!!

I'm not sure whether I will be there or not, I may have to work but I do know that even if there are no tv's in the place we could always go to a bar somewhere near there....

one of the stores on shawns route is right over there, i am sure he knows of a place to go if there isnt a bar for you guys to sit at

Just so y'all know... Luxe doesn't really have the kinda bar that's good for tv and sports watchin'. In fact, I'm not even sure they have T.V.

if you want to deal with mall traffic and organize your own be my guest!! Alot of us live closer to suffolk and queens is out pf the way for us...How do you expect a nassau/suffolk girl to have an idea of where to go near the roosevelt field mall at christmas time??!! Thats suicide!!!

There are places to go near the mall that aren't crazy. I don't think to many people are shopping much in this economy anyway.
I just think she was wondering if there was a place besides the mall but near it since that is where the original G2G was

Majority of us have agreed on croxleys...so that is where it will be. Yes the food isnt the greatest, yes it is RIGHT near the farmingdale train station...BUt who cares!! That is where it will be and if someone cant make bc they dont want to drive or try to find a carpool then thats fine!! There will be other G2G's

The train is right there... seriously, you could walk.
The food may be the su ck but the company is awesome.

Ok I did not ask for this to be moved to queens I asked for a middle of the way place (which is where it originally was...I was more then willing to look for another place not by the mall since I am familar with that area but if you ladies arent up to it fine like you said there will be more g2gs But I have to be honest I think this comment was a little mean when I was willing to cooperate and drive a bit to meet you ladies who have been so helpful. Just saying no would have been fine, I dont feel that there was a need to tell me to go plan my own g2g. In the future I hope there will be some flexibiltiy so this board isnt separated into city girls and li girls

Not far at all. Take the Southern State to 135 (SOB) and then take exit for Hempstead Turnpike towards Farmingdale. You will then make a left on Main Street. It's less than 10 miles off of the 135.
