Ok girls the time is getting closer...XMas G2G time!! Sunday December 14th, at 12:30. This gives us plenty of time to eat drink and be merry...and maybe even go shopping afterwards!! If your coming post your name up and I will add you to the list! Gotta get an acurate head count so I can call in a reservation!!
We are no longer meeting at Grand Luxe...week before xmas + mall + stupid people = bad situation for parking and crowds..
we will now be meeting at CROXLEYS!!! same time, just different place!!

if you want to deal with mall traffic and organize your own be my guest!! Alot of us live closer to suffolk and queens is out pf the way for us...How do you expect a nassau/suffolk girl to have an idea of where to go near the roosevelt field mall at christmas time??!! Thats suicide!!!
Ok I did not ask for this to be moved to queens I asked for a middle of the way place (which is where it originally was...I was more then willing to look for another place not by the mall since I am familar with that area but if you ladies arent up to it fine like you said there will be more g2gs But I have to be honest I think this comment was a little mean when I was willing to cooperate and drive a bit to meet you ladies who have been so helpful. Just saying no would have been fine, I dont feel that there was a need to tell me to go plan my own g2g. In the future I hope there will be some flexibiltiy so this board isnt separated into city girls and li girls
If there was somebody who was willing to suggest another location they should have when it was first mentioned...No one made suggestions and the ones that did won out. The location is central on the island for all girls to get to in under 30 minutes depending on traffic. It is easy to get to and their is no holiday traffic to have to deal with. There are girls who are carpooling together to save on gas/driving, maybe more people should look into that if they are scared to drive. If there is someone who would like to step up to the plate and schedule the next G2G that is fine, bc it has been me who has scheduled all but one of them, with little to no help, and all I encounter is resistance in anything nice I tried to do for this board. So call me a mean witch, I really dont care...And just remember, if I am the one who is 'seperating' the boards, all of the WM brides should have thought about that when they schulded their own G2G and made a big deal about the 2010 G2G being the day after theirs...We have been keeping every G2G open to all girls, not just the ones getting married at a certain location...

No one told you to stop the WM G2G in the first place, no one really cared that you were all doing it. Your all going to be having one anyway, so go for it!! A bunch of us all went out yesterday, but the difference was we put it out there for everyone who might want to come. So dont have someone sit there and tell ME, that I am tearing the boards apart and seperating everyone...THAT is what was uncalled for.
I have no issues with anyone on here, its a website where we are all able to speak freely and openly about anything. Alot of us have made really good friends from this site too. So if girls dont want to come to the G2G for fear of drama thats fine, we arent forcing anyone to do anything they dont want to do. None of us have met before, so how can you possibly 'have issues' with someone who right now is only a person on the other side of a computer screen?

the you shouldn't have mentioned the WM g2g because it never happened!! no need of that and i am not going to g2g not because of fear of drama but because i have a final and i have no problem with the location just with what you said because it was something that happened long ago and that i cleared up! already

The last thing I am going to post about this is: There are more important things in life than this website, like Finals!!!! Our actual lives are so much more important than this website!!! But imagine that you get called out by your BOTW, the girl who is supposed to be the perfect example of a good bride, your just going to let her bad mouth you? Real life or not, all of us have family members/friends/coworkers who lurk on this site, and i dont think anyone would like it to be called out like that. I would never ever in a million years call a girl out for no reason like that, if i really had a problem with something i would either ignore it or send her a private message. But hey, everyone is different and has different ways of thinking and doing things.
