Always remember that a bunch of men made up birth control rules many, many years ago as a way of keeping women from being 'tainted' before marriage. Do you honestly think that if any women had been asked the rules would be what it is? Of course not. It is a way of forcing the no sex before marriage stuff on women.

You need to trust your own heart and mind in this case. Do you really believe that any God would think less of you because you wanted to wait to have a child until you could provide for one? Look at those young moms who throw their children in alleys out of of fear, guilt, and a whole host of emotional problems . I am sure God would rather that girl take a pill then do that stuff.

You have NOTHING to feel guilty about. Do you live a good life? Do you try to make the World a better place? If so, then you should be allowed to make your own decisions about when the time is right for you to have a child.

Anyway this is JMO, of course. And yes, I am a Catholic. But that does not mean that I blindly follow either.

I don't feel guilty!! (I'm an Irish Catholic some of us breed like it's a sport!!) But, I think its smart to be on the pill. My husband & I would love to have more kids when we are ready! Not before! Patrick was our little suprise so I'm VERY careful now.

Catholic girl here, and I feel you need to do what is best for you & your husband.
