I wouldn't be upset. Me and 2 of my GFs got engaged around the same time. And stores like Pottery Barn Carry the same things. YOu both have different families and friends. NOt to worry.

I wouldn't be upset. One of FH's friends registered for the same crystal as us, and my sister and I just picked out the same bedding!

Hmmm. Think of it the other way. Suppose she got engaged first, she picked out her china first, and then you fell in love with it. Should you be precluded from picking something you love and will have to live with for a long time just cause someone else got there first? I don't think so. It sounds like you just have similar taste.

I wouldn't be pissed, she is your friend so it is almost natural the you'd have similiar taste. I will say though, that when we were picking china I really liked the same pattern FSIL had but I felt she may get mad that we picked the same....personally I wouldn't care though.

Is your pattern pretty popular? If so, you could find out that a lot of people are registered for it and maybe some other friends and relatives

My best friend mrswask picked the same everyday pattern as me, but in a different color. I wouldnt have cared if she picked the same exact color.
