It is excellent! We used to go there all the time because my dad is friendly with the owner. We had my grandparents anniversary party there. We rented out the whole place. There escargot is the best around. It is so nice inside. I definetly recommend.

There is a restaurant/small bar and a small house in the back of the main building. I was never there but I have been in the main restaurant and that is the part we rented out. I am sure it is nice. The owner used to be a costume designer for soap operas. Just a little bit of info

I just asked my dad and he said it was nice. He told me he thinks Teddy Roosevelt stopped there once. Another bit of useless info Maybe you can go and check it out? I am not sure what it looks like inside, sorry. I do know the food is excellent.

Anytime Glad I could help a little bit! I understand what you are going through. My FI's parents booked the Maine Maid Inn and I have never been there nor was I asked my opinion. Oh well
